Who am I ?
I’m Hatsur, a painter working primarily in digital media with a traditional, painterly mindset.
My work grows from tone, atmosphere, and silence rather than spectacle.
I’m interested in moments where an image stops being decorative and starts to feel present when it carries weight, mood, or an unspoken thought.
I don’t work for trends, visibility, or algorithms.
I work slowly and deliberately, allowing ideas to unfold through study, revision, and intuition. Sketches, tonal studies, and unfinished states are an essential part of my process—not something to hide, but something to respect.
My images often explore liminal spaces, quiet tension, and encounters with something unfamiliar yet strangely calm.
I’m drawn to the feeling of standing before something larger than yourself… not dramatic, not loud, but undeniable.
I use modern tools, including digital painting and references, as instruments … not shortcuts.
What matters to me is authorship: personal decisions, accumulated practice, and leaving a visible human trace behind the image.
This is not fast art.
It’s not made to shout.
It’s made to stay.
If something here resonates with you, that’s enough.
